Hot Lunch Program

The Brockton Hot Lunch program will be offered every Monday and Thursday from October 13th, 2011 to June 7th, 2012. Ordering will be done online and divided into three sessions:

Session 1: October – December 2011
Session 2: January – March 2012
Session 3: April- June 2012

We will be accepting online orders for Session 2 between Monday, December 19, 2011 and Monday, January 2, 2012. Payment must be submitted by Wednesday, January 4, 2012.

Menu Choices

Monday Lunches

Sushi Day - Provided by Sushi Katsu, offering: Kappa Rolls, California Rolls, Dynamite Rolls, Yam Tempura Rolls, Rice Rolls, Edamame, Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl, Beef Teriyaki Rice Bowl, Chicken Fried Rice and Gyoza (pork).

Pasta & Sub Day - Provided by Verdicchio Deli and Trattoria, offering pasta with a variety of “made from scratch” sauces, caesar salad and sub sandwiches (Ham & Cheese, Roast Turkey & Cheese and Salami and Cheese) on 8″ baguettes. All sandwiches come with condiments on the side (mayo & mustard)

Ping’s Asian Buffet - Provided by Ping’s Catering, cooked fresh on-site and served buffet style by parent volunteers. Students choose from Veggie Chow Mein, Ping’s Chicken Wings, Ginger Beef Crispy Wontons, Chicken & Veggie Stir Fry and Fried Rice.

Booster Juice Smoothies - Offering 12 oz “snack size” smoothies made with fresh frozen fruit and 100% juice. Served with Monday lunches. Flavour options are Strawberry Sunshine, Very Berry, and Mango Hurricane.

Tuesday Lunches

Hot Dog (new) & MaxFrut - Scheduled on the last Tuesday of every month. This is a Student Council fundraising day offering Harvest All Beef (gluten-free) wieners and Yves Veggie wieners on whole wheat buns.

Thursday Lunches

Pizza Day - Provided by Papa Johns in Lynn Valley, offering Cheese, Pepperoni, Hawaiian & Veggie Pizza. Two slices per serving size.

Wok Box (New) - Options will include small lunchbox size: Dragon Chicken Box, Jungle Noodles (Veggie Stir Fry), Sweet & Sour Crispy Chicken Rice Box and in regular lunchbox size: Mongolian Beef Noodle Stir Fry (gluten free), Indian Butter Chicken on Rice with Naan Bread, Lemongrass Curry Chicken Rice Box.

Baked Goods - Provided by local baker Little Footprint Organics offering amazing oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, granola bars, banana bread, zucchini muffins. There will be some gluten, egg free options too!

MaxFrut Frozen Fruit Bars (new) - We will be offering the small size MaxFrut bars which are made from 100% whole, real fruit that is minimally processed (not puréed) with no juice sweeteners added. Fresh or fresh frozen whole fruit and absolutely NO artificial flavors or colors.

Beverages - 2% Milk (250ml), Chocolate Milk (250ml) and Sunrype Apple Juice (200ml) provided by Dairyland and available each lunch day.

Hot Lunch Volunteers

The hot lunch team would love your help! If you are available to help sort and distribute lunches on a Monday or Thursday from 12:15-1:15 please contact Diane. Hot Lunch is an easy, fun way to contribute to the school.

Important Information

Student Absences
If your child is sick or away on a hot lunch day, you can make arrangements for his/her lunch to be picked up and taken home or put in the fridge/freezer for the next day. Please call Diane at 604-785-2183 or email dianeculin@gmail.com to arrange. If you do not contact Diane ahead of time please consider it a donation.

Order Changes
In the event that your child has ordered something that is not working for him/her, please contact Diane to make the necessary changes (10 days notice is appreciated). Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds.
