Brockton Preparatory School

On Wednesday, March 10th the MYP team will be giving a presentation to Brockton parents on a pivotal aspect of the MYP programme - Approaches to Learning. In a nutshell, Approaches to Learning addresses the questions: How do I learn, think, communicate, work with others, organize myself, access and use information, reflect? In this workshop parents will discover what key skills students learn through this part of the programme and how as a school and as parents we can help students to master them.

If you are interested in attending this session I would please ask that you RSVP to the school office so that we can prepare appropriate numbers of resources.

Please drop off students at the Lonsdale Quay Sea bus at 8:30am. Students can be picked up at the Lonsdale Quay Sea bus at 3:00pm or if other arrangements need to be made please do contact Ms. Masi at lmasi@brocktonschool.com

Brockton’s Olympic School Dance is Thursday, February 11th from 7 to 9:30pm. The Student Leadership Team is running the event. A DJ has been booked and a pizza dinner will be provided. Tickets are $5 for students or guests. The dance is open to Grades 5-8. Tickets are on sale every day at lunch up until the day of the dance.
