Miss Abbie Lu
Miss Lu is a specialist in elementary music education. She has the ARCT from the Royal Conservatory in Toronto. She attained the Bachelor of Music in piano performance as well as the Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia. Prior to studying at UBC, she studied in Bratislava, Salzburg and Vienna. She has a strong belief in the capacity of students to learn about and express themselves through music. She conducts two school choirs and has produced school concerts to thunderous applause from the audience.

Ms. Paige Freeborn and Mr. Adrian Dyck
As the MYP specialist music instructors, this dynamic husband and wife team has been able to use their passion for music to bring an excitement to the music programme. Mr. Dyck has a Master of Music degree in violin performance from UBC and performs regularly with many ensembles, including the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Freeborn holds her Master of Music degree in piano performance from UBC and has performed solo piano repertoire, chamber music in Canada and the U.S. She also studied orchestral conducting in the Czech Republic. Both instructors extend Brockton's music programme by offering private instrumental instruction, including theory, in preparation for Royal Conservatory examinations.
