International Students

Brockton Preparatory School Welcomes International Students

Brockton is an English-language school that welcomes applications from international students. The school does not offer a separate ESL program; we integrate international students into our classrooms, and also provide on-site ESL tutoring for international students during regular school hours. We currently have students from every continent interested in the experience of a Brockton education. The global focus of the International Baccalaureate Programme provides an ideal environment for both local and international students to learn about our world.

Brockton is a non-denominational, co-educational independent school established in 2004. Located in North Vancouver, we offer strong academic and extracurricular programs in an educational environment where every student's efforts are encouraged and supported by teachers and peers alike. All students learn that truth, trust, honesty, co-operation, mutual respect and openness are everyday values honoured by everyone in the Brockton community. Our unique and welcoming school culture is the result of integrating these values in everything we do.

At Brockton, we focus on:

  • the quality of the daily school experience
  • the development of students' personal integrity and character
  • preparing students for success in post-secondary studies
  • creating an inclusive community that welcomes students from a variety of backgrounds
  • small class sizes to allow for individualized attention and foster a stimulating learning environment.

All students receive an enriched education, with stimulating classes in core academic subjects, languages, fine arts and music instruction, plus a growing set of elective courses in the senior grades.
